Today's News: It's thursday 31st-july-2013 when Apple just announced that it'll be rolling out it's EFI firmware update to it's Macbook Air, Macbook Pro users globally. The update comes after many posted complaints attaching glitches & disappointments they've undergone either when, surfing the web, performing system's update or playing HD movies only to be prompted with a nagging message that quotes "system point on halt, attempting critical shutdown". Others incurred no problems but unexpected closure of system apps which possessed red flags of the same. The EFI released today counts on destined area of these laptops' Air & Pro's. Most importantly red balms of battery. Apple adds you satisfaction when the battery on your laptop performs most likely above 1000 potential cycle (The cycle here takes note of a single charge, clocking 1 cycle of which later adds/counts to 1 full charge). Click the Apple icon on-top of your OSX bar > About this Mac > More info > System Report. (Then click on power on the left side & you'll see cycle counts best displayed on the right)

Now, with regard of the cycles your system displays on power management, of-course numerics provided will tell whether your update is to be performed or not. Below 1000 (Number scale from 200>720) confirms a full update of either your MacBook pro  or MacBook air. With hopes that you've fully collected the information needed, let's perform the update (Convenient phase):

Just click on the apple logo on your OSX top, gray bar. Navigate to updates/system updates & ensure no sequence of whatever case is running at the background. Now click on update & you'll be brought to such a screen.

Now click on install 1 item & that's all - It's that's easy. 1st phase completed. For those in need of manual update, well, I've that for you also. Am going to give this but then, you'll have to check details with your system. Just point your browser & wait as your EFI update makes relevant patches. A progression bar will be given, most probably at the periphery of your OS power management:

Security Alert: Microsoft trails off the 2nd time -- After 5 years in a row!

Commentary: - Does your new windows 8 desktop perform wide variety of smooth architectures regardless the software/programs installed? if not then blame it on Microsoft!
I don't understand why Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer is rather jocular than being composed when giving proper fore-steps as CEO. Checking the past, MS-Cop (Microsoft Cop) has given elegant directives & measures when combating issues with security threats. Mcafee  has hold the strong roots tangled & technically integrated with it's line of OS starting with WinXP all the way to it's latest OS, windows 8. Every year principals regarding security has given +ve graphs to ensure malware & other computer infections are taken care of. What does it tell when best performing students give head-shaking grades come end of term? does this concerns minimal exhaustions of brain cells as far as scanning therapy is concerned? why should it be a company like Microsoft that reigned before Apple Inc  obtaining the last pie of graph survey every time  principals in security organization come to table?

Poor levity construction within the OS architecture
 Last week a group of security on look-out made it's 5th base analysis on best ground breaking antiviruses' performance. This time OS architecture was line of topic with loops & code-bond being inclusive. Mac as a subsidiary OS as many view it, made the best, portraying core architecture with balanced line of code ( How execution of code is performed behind a system). Most malware inhibit the weakest point on loops most likely boot-sectors & kernel alliteration.   On-going laxity on IS executive
For decades, company like Apple has reached on threshold & I don't think it's by treasure which uplifts the core excellence in making such a complex & magnified OS which is today known as the  Mac OS X . Mac, from the common word Macintosh has (IS) executive that form green flags when security issues is on the rise. Encapsulating it's line of security for the good of end-users. What of Microsoft? No one knows what Steve Ballmer (Microsoft CEO) has been planning for Microsoft. Of-course Microsoft has given green light to it's surface tablet & i can't deny about it but with windows defender i can't say it's serving me purpose. Last week we had a case of zero day malware executing arbitrary code without the users knowledge, here, we had individuals running windows tolling the infection table with a total of 64% while the remaining pie under neutrality with slight infections of about 20 > 35%. 

- So far Microsoft's windows defender was trailing from behind as Bit-defender, Panda, avast, security essentials & Kaspersky made the top as leading & global, p security softwares with 4>5 star rating. Am currently switched to Mac OS X Snow White v10.6.5 taking over my system as i await Microsoft's finale change on it's windows defender. Still on doubt as to why such results have made Microsoft a nagging OS? point me your thoughts inside the comments' box. 

Facebook Phone won't roll :- Let's drop down the hammer.

The Facebook phone which is aimed to fit the Smartphones industry - Tag #Trend 

Commentary :- Should we call this a surprise? No, not at all & should we be surprised of the same? of course not. Facebook, for man years has really kept it's twill & flamboyant art of fame on the line & since then many of us can't be sure of what Zuckerberg together with his team is planning for Facebook. It was on Tuesday this week when Facebook event shade light on what was to be expected of Facebook this year.  I can't deny the fact that facebook is trying much harder to be on cliff but should we say Zuckerberg is quietly playing the castle uptown game where giving & taking is too another way of obtaining roses equally? & should we also say Zuckerberg is quietly paving way to smartphone industry? I guess the definite answer here is, YES. Am not a facebook avid as such but for sure designing a specific phone directed for a specific purpose will be creating more harm than good to it's line of competition. We're now introduced to facebook graph search which will now let it's users do a facebook search of people, photos, places & interests. That's a  tool which has raised much uproar to social media platform. Analyst have also given positive opinions which will later see facebook making lot's of backs ( $$$ ) in the course of the year. I've been able to review how various search tasks give +ve results when logged-on, especially for the love birds who see facebook has something to do with their future - where the two become one. Let's not take this too far.

 

 

1. Facebook needs to concentrate  on apps alone.

  - I don't see the reason why facebook should involve making ways to fit the smartphone industry where as developing applications has been the concrete paradigm throughout their line graph.  All what we know is facebook's still not fit in slotting it's ideas in smartphone technology. Last time we saw the company partner with HTC which held strong ties only to get ripped after a period of  2 years. The same was with Facebook buddy with HTC & with these incarnations on list, has left many questions as to why Zuckerberg is still creeping-in for smartphone business.

 

2. Branding OS to sustain monopoly isn't a choice to success.

  - We should be happy of the yet unveiled facebook phone but will it serve a different OS? currently, iOS & Android are serving as primary base OS where as blackberry-OS & Windows -Phone-OS serving as secondary base OSs. Those are not the only ones, we've got Firefox, Ubuntu Phone & palm OS which will be taking root to capture the hearts of consumers later in course of the year. The base question which we should be asking ourselves is, will facebook need an OS with all these OS's making dominants revelations? If facebook was in-need of making good & adorable OS for the world to see then it should partner & work a-bit closely with strong companies like Samsung & Google which entice the perfect bind in Mobile-OS industry. I think it would be well if facebook concentrated on Apps rather than building perfect mobile territory of which the mobile OS industry itself is kinda saturated as well. 

 

3.Working closely with careers is stingingly a menace to forget.

  - I understand FCC (Federal-Communication-Commission) isn't ready to give appropriate licence to devices not standardized by relevant OEM to pave way in stores ready for sale. Facebook will be happy unveiling a definite device but the channels on hot-points aren't going to let go of that without chipping their brand on that very device; Let me say branding & designating channels targeted for market prosperity - totally a disgrace facebook will be welcoming.


 - Still, Facebook faces the same kinds of challenges as any other smartphone player does, so don't expect the company to go wading into deep mobile waters anytime soon.

   After a long period of vanish, the tech analyst is back to give what many of you have been waiting for. Just for a recap of last years findings, much has been seen as changes in technology has revolutionized & changed the way we use & feel technology. We've seen how multi-billion companies like Apple Inc. & Samsung compete for the top reign. I can't deny that. Today we've it differently as companies converged to bring you live & hottest Tech, from Las Vegas on Wednesday this week. Geeks had a time to squeeze & portray the tests by giving excellent analysis of what was in store for the world to see. For many of you who have been following this, either on Twitter as  #CES 2013 or on YouTube can actually tell how special the event was. I've been able to gather top events regardless of how fast CEO's presented their tech to masses. Latest chips on Mobile devices

1. Intel's finest mind-blowing innovation ever foretold

    Intel earlier on Wednesday introduced it's latest processor code-named "Haswel & Lexington 2z42" which targeted for mobile & as well tablet developing markets. The chip punchs' & bundles more than it's previous processor, Intel's x86 processors which is by any means power guzzler. The new Lexington chip is viewed on a two sided coin as it performs tasks at pro-levels - for example, wireless sharing, HSPA+ & also offers hyper-threading support. Hyper-threading is again a new technology that helps processors in computers utilize spare time to perform other tasks requested & needed by users working on PC's. The real icing of the cake here is battery consumption. Earlier Intel processors like the x86 family consumed a lot of power compared to Qualcomm's ARM chip. With no reasons Lexington chip will reside & be shipped on smartphones & on tablets too. We've got various firms which Intel has partner with& they include: Lava, Acer & Safaricom that will actually base on their current reference design. It is a tremendous year for Intel as far as Bloomberg confirms.  



2. Qualcomm's latest enhancement

      Qualcomm also took a turn on stage - introducing a 600-800 series processors which is said to take advantage of 802.11 a/b/c/g network standard on mobile device. The high-end 800 series processors encapsulates the newest 4G LTE  technology that offers data up to 150Mbs which is 5x faster than it's previous generation of processor (x86 - family processor)



Latest technology on gaming & fun.

1. NVidia : project shield invention
   NVidia, also gave a turn in by showing it's latest prototype in gaming technology branded & codenamed "Project Shield". The new technology takes control of how big gamers like I stream various endless games from PC to Android platform. NVidia knew project shield was going to be a powerhouse, so by increasing the mode of display, NVidia added atleast1080x720P thus making gaming & live-streaming on big-screen TV an alternative to consider in your 2013 shopping list.
