Our best guess on tomorrow's Apple special event.

(Credit: Screen-cast by verge.com/)
Commentary- Gauging on last years' apple's event, the dates tells us a-lot in accordance with the months & weeks as well. This year's apple event was more and precisely on unveiling new set of iPhones and much advanced apple's OS that gave it all on stage in apple's headquarters in Cupertino, CA. This October will again be a month of apple. By a report on (All_things_D) heavy leaks on this month's apple event have all been taken with usual grains of salt as it's typically known for it's excellent track records on apple's annual events. Am still not sure where the event will set for kick-off but what am certain about is, we should expect a-lot starting with new lines of Macbook pro together with minis, of which, most probably, November 1st will see them launched & ready to go on sell. So the event is now axed in manner. What's our best guess on items predicted to be on board?

New Macbooks together with Minis
As it is a norm for apple to upgrade it's new hardware, reports tell that new Macbooks are also on board come late November this year. Last year upgrades seemed minimal compared to this years. Key elements like processing power, high multimedia definition that supports full retina display on both iMacs and Macbooks are rumoured to be on plans. Apple, for years, is known for it's excellent prowess in giving ground breaking machines especially from the Macbook line of products. Of-course we also have the new Mac pro desktop on our prediction list, that'll be fully unveiled come end of this fall but won't surface in the coming apple event. Upgrades of it showcased earlier June this year and newer power structure was the whole motive to this very Mac pro desktop. We also expect the same upgrade to ice the cake in the coming generation of Macbook pro. Talk of ultra-fast 4k media graphics that is rumoured to take full advantage of new GPU's acceleration, new generation of intels' processor (Haswell) that will all-together bundle and come to reality on Macbooks' schematic board and also not forgetting PCI express based hardware plan that will deliver a state-of-art performance on coming new Macbooks. With additions to this, we also expect an upgrade on visual front camera display on both products -- iMacs and Macbooks, that will also pass through the show-casing event come next week on tuesday.

New iPads on list.
With the iPad, i can truly say there's some kind of a fever pitch that has kept many on ripples, as apple's slotting suprices and in-fact jaw dropping suprices in stores for next weeks event. New iPads are just around the corner and with all these rumours taking rounds the blogosphere, this actually tells how next iPads will have a treasure at hand even though they don't hit the 100% mark. A Series of analysis  have potentially revealed how cool next iPads will preface. Bigger screens, 9.7'' in size and better HD graphics that's x5 times faster than the previous generation of the iPad are also factors to consider. A report released by Cnet strongly tells how next full sized-iPads will maintain last years' mini kind of shape that spots sliddish angle edges and bezeled shape that's thinner in design. AllThingsD, a site well known for it's best track records of apple's products also suggest that the minis will get full retina display and take same levels with the iPad pro in crystal display. The next big surprise is whether the two iPads will include Apple's new device security based on Touch ID like the one bundled on iPhone 5s that will see it's users being able to purchase music via iTunes and as well unlocking their devices in regards to privacy. Siri's also a blast here. Apple's also taking siri to the next level, infact to the iPad where users can interact with female voice assistance, ask questions about weather, air base station, road maps and even match you results for fast lunch hour malls based on your current location. Millions have loved & as well hated Siri but for apple funs, the fact remains that Siri plans and offers broad range of enquires greater than that of Googles', just as many of you think of it as a competition disparity. Susan Bennett, a US. voice historiographist was this month kept on light by CNN for her best voice of urgency that many thought was used as iPhone's voice assistant. Am also expecting her voice to feature in iOS7 as an additional update come next week and of-course this time getting accompanied by males' too, of which am not sure who that will be. You can watch her talk and share her earlier experiences here.

Commentary:-Other possible predictions beyond the iPad and Macbooks will include naming of prices that will tag the OS X mavericks together with it's Mac Pro in the next apple event. For divas who see music as a standing ovation, am yet to get info on iPods but possible criteria reveals iOS7 taking face but to users who only posses the 5th generation of it. iOS7 is the latest & current mobile Operating system that powers all apple smartphone devices that has of-late rolled out massively to users. OS X mavericks is also a follow-up of last years OS X mountain lion that will showcase also - not as a separate software this time, but a nailing filter that will run real-time on new Macbook pro and Pro desktops as well. Apple typically invites media to such rounds of events a week or so, before the conference and that means you should expect more pictures and point-to-point analysis come next week.

Does new iPhones tell us more about next iPads?

(Credit: Ngache/Tech -Analyst)
Commentary: It's about a month since the debut of new set of iPhones (5s & 5c). Apple events, has this year got a trail of reaction from it's fans. The iPhone 5s together with the 5c has brought new invention to reality and i mean, partial reality, starting from its newly set of colours to the most mindful capture in design. The i-5c just got better on colours, a choice that many greatly opt for - the same with the 5s, graphite's new glossy finish and  not forgetting the most trendy, gold champagne that packs sense of true vitality and harmonious relationship to it's loyal customers. Am yet to confirm about the coming iPads but alot has been covered, as techies around the globe leaked on-point photos depicting how cool the next generation of the iPad would be in design. So what is apple trying to reveal about the coming iPad, just, from it's latest set of iPhones?

Segment in processing chips
Last year the iPhone 5 bundled an A6 processor chip and just before it was unveiled in market, it's previous generation of the iPhone commonly shared the A5 processing chip. What does this imply? the iPhone 5c together with it's previous generation of the iPhone (iPhone 5) are both tangled to A6 processor while the iPhone 5s sliced an upgrade thus packing it with an A7 chip. The same is with the next iPads. Am pretty sure the trending curve will still apply to still keep the divide. Lets expect an A7x processing chip icing on the next iPads also. Processing is the whole thing. As the 64-bit chip prevailing on both sides, am meant to realize that apps requiring great capabilities in resource management will tick that as done. Are we forgetting the mini? expect the same share for both.

Expect an iPad 'Pro' type of device, with additional accessories?
(Credit: thivnit.com)
Bigger screens will mean improved and powerful GP-unit. The iPhone 5s together with the 5c are still lagging the rope. Am a big fan of iPhone together with it's common branding line of products but what draws the line is how Apple treats the act of change with total laxity, let's compare that with the competition, Samsung, for instance, they've made jaw dropping gadgets that customers have want on trendy smartphone devices. A corny
curving glass seem to be ready on patent, creating a greater gap between apple's art of marksmanship and Samsung. The same should be with apple. I have a feeling that the next iPad will feature a rigorous upgrade. Gauging a 9.7 inch on the iPad pro while a normal 7.9'' on the mini, a touch ID finger print sensor and most likely retina display on both.

Keep in mind, colours will still make ripples
(Credit: Ngache/Tech-Analyst-Review)
The new iPhones have embraced the art of colours, maybe it was the year of colours for apple as many of you think. The i-5c for instance, brought with it flamboyance kind of feel in world of colours, soft, silicon, fabric back casing made iOS 7 update a drooping priority to any iPhone owner. The next generation of the iPad, most likely the Mini, will perhaps follow soot and depict five colours just like the i-5c while the next iPad 5 or-rather the 'Pro' will face-cover same exterior colour priority as seen on the i-5s, perhaps gold champagne on one while the reamaining two portraying graphite, glossy finishing.

64-bit and gaming will be a bigger deal on the iPad 5.
Assuming the iPhone 5s displayed a 6.5'' across, packed with it's newly A7x chip and with better GPU acceleration as seen on the current iPhone 5s' schematic board, how would that be? am into the opinion, if at all the next iPad will make face in market, then be assured of great gaming capabilities than ever. CNET's editor, Scott Stein revealed this after an excellent review of the iPhone 5s, that gave optimal answers as to how the next iPad will execute multiple resource with 64-Bit chip being on board (Read that here). 64-bit Games and photo-video apps in iOS7 show off how the iPhone 5s works. Now that makes a reflection on the coming 'Pro' also. For the Mini, it's a-little bit trickier as apple is still focusing on issues like retina display and as well bundling the device with an easier GP-interface that will enable HD-games work hand-in-hand with the targeted retina display. Let's also expect apple's 64-bit document suit like pages, keynotes, numbers and even text-edit to take through the entire iPads (both the mini and Pro)

Once again, no additional surprises as last years'
Apple events seems to be unfolding with thousands of blogs leaking details and pictures that reach the 100% mark. That doesn't actually mean that new iPads will pass through a strong upgrade. Maybe all this will be equally predictable to some extent, who knows? What am just hoping for, is that, the new iPads will definitely feel fresh again. Am also hoping that a new accessory débuts and that could actually mean ending-up to an additional 3rd-party keyboard, at-least, on the iPad 'Pro'.

Battle of the Instruments and the Inner Truth.

"Is it WORTH IT?"
The most balanced sentence you will ever hear about a product is a question: “Is it worth it?”, and the critical question comes in, what makes it “Worth It”?
Having been around technology for a while I must point out that systems have changed and the way everything is viewed and perceived has also changed drastically.

Emerging players and new found land:

Blackberry’s mother company RIM has sold out and so has Nokia, what is carrying this shift in the order? Take in mind that there are a lot of other players slowly emerging and reinforcing themselves in the market, these include Corning Glass producing the touch screens, with 1000 product models and more than 1.5 Billion devices in 33 different major brands, ARM produces the processors and is the current leader of the semiconductor scene, has proudly shipped over 20 billion chips and has sold over 800 processor licenses to 250 different companies, revenues at ARM are said to be growing at a higher ratio than the total semiconductor industry revenues, so these are the emerging major players, so…

Where is the battle?

From the above two examples it means it’s a battle of the brands, who can sell more, as I typically argue; the price of the device quietly boils down to:
The allegiance awarded to it and the loyalty of the customer.

The latter is what will drive a brand and make it thrive. A few years back anyone would have dismissed Samsung save for my dad who loves Samsung TV’s and describes them as the best.
But in the mobile devices scene Samsung produced the wrong prototypes for the right market, a quick fast forward to today and Samsung is leading… hotly pursued by Apple.

My question is: If you are buying a device and you have an open budget, what would you have as the most coherent and witty purchase?
The answer would stand out in the price: How much are you willing to pay for the technology packed in the device, how much are you paying per instrument attached to the mainboard? And how much are you paying for the operating system developed for that instrument?
Over the years the statistics have always been with the production and sales of the instruments, however, the stability, robustness and the willingness of the public to choose a particular device over the other has emerged as a contender.
The advert-wars have tagged and bagged the clientele, instead there are slogans like "The Next Best Thing, Today" and "Living tomorrows' technology today" thanks to the fact that Apple would release products with instruments that the Android family had already released, technology like NFC, Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 with EDR, Wi-Fi hotspot, Corning Gorilla 2, higher resolution displays and higher RAM and expandable memory.

The Brands and their flagships:

Even today with the release of the iPhone 5S, I still see the same issue, lack of the current technology in the high priced device. This is what should kill the market for the iPhone, but it’s not killing it, so what is in the versatility of the product that makes it flamboyant and dynamic enough to resist and sail through?
We therefore examine the selling specs of the different flagships from the major brands;

The selling specs in the iPhone 5S are:
- Fingerprint sensor (Touch ID) - Corning Gorilla Glass, oleo phobic coating - DC-HSDPA, 42 Mbps;
HSDPA, 21 Mbps;
HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps,
LTE, 100 Mbps;
EV-DO Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps
- 640 x 1136 pixels, 4.0 inches (~326 ppi pixel density - Dual-core 1.3 GHz Swift (ARM v7-based)
- 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED (True Tone) flash

- 16/32/64 GB storage (No expansion slot), 1 GB RAM DDR3

Price: 83,931/=

The selling specs of the Samsung Galaxy S4 are:
- HSDPA, 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps
-  Corning Gorilla Glass 3 - Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7
- 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
- 16/32/64 GB storage (Expansion slot up to 64Gb), 2 GB RAM
- 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.0 inches (~441 ppi pixel density)
- Bluetooth Yes, v4.0 with A2DP, EDR, LE - NFC

Price: 57,000/=

Selling specs of the Blackberry Z10 are:

- HSDPA 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps; LTE, EV-DO Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps- Capacitive touchscreen, 16M colours- 768 x 1280 pixels, 4.2 inches (~355 ppi pixel density
- Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait
- 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
- 16 GB storage (Expansion slot up to 64Gb), 2 GB RAM
- Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, LE - NFC

 Price: 54,999/=

Now be the judge, calculate how much you are paying for the technology and see if “It’s Worth it”.

Apple World Wide Developers Conference scheduled to kick off 10th in San Francisco

(Credit: OS X Daily)

The long wait is finally over. Apple just posted that on it's press release, indicating gorgeous and tremendous structure for it's iOS and OS X developers. I think this will be the most impressive moments to any apple developer who will get to appear via a pinhole camera. As usual, all events kicks with a 360 full coverage that mirrors lots of trending & engaging features. wwdc is now scheduled, perhaps June 10th-14th.

That's a colorful blow of spectacular 5 day event that no apple developer can afford to miss. I've contacted a friend from the west & most likely my day in will be fully characterized by a thin silky wwdc card. It may be orange, pink, red or silver-grey colored on a canvased background. Apple hasn't announced what flamboyant colours the card will hold but for many who have attended the world wide convention ever since will automatically brace on patterns to this answer.

Through a Press release  updated a couple of hours back, senior directives from apple inc have made remarkable comments concerning the up-coming World Wide Developers Conference. Taking a few break to analyse, this's what they flashed us with:

"We look forward to gathering at WWDC 2013 with the incredible community of iOS and OS X developers" - Phillip schiller

- He also goes on shading light to other anticipated areas:

"Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever and we're excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developers tools to help them create innovative new apps. We  can't wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC" -

WWDC 2013 activities include:
- More than 100 technical sessions presented by apple engineers on a wide range of topics on developing and deploying both iOS and OS X software technologies.
- More than 1000 apple engineers supporting over 100 hands-on labs with code level assistance.
- The latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS and OS X and not forgetting also how to enhance the capabilities of apps, both for app store and Mac app store.
- And more interestingly, engagement of both iOS and OS X developers from around the world. Kenya, my country taking a shift for the 1st time in presenting the very best of apple's developers ever!
- We've got one more thing also, kept in attendance that never had the pleasure of showing up in past wwdc conference and that is engaging inspirational lunchtime sessions with leading minds and influencers from the world of technology science and entertainment.

N/B: Tickets will be made available for purchase tomorrow morning (April 25th 2013) at 10AM pacific time and to my surprise, price charged for each developer  points a shift of dismay. Each developer will have a whooping $1599 to cough ( That's around Ksh 95940/= for each developer in kenya.)

Wanna know my cutting line?
Well, wwdc, ever since my journey as a tech blogger found me charging exorbitantly for this developer's conference. I love apple product's line and neither will i cut a piece of string to subdue my expectations. Let me not ruin your excitement of this tickling event that is about to take place live and well brilliant come June 10th at San Francisco, 10AM Pacific time.

Your cutting line?
In order to be eligible for purchasing wwdc tickets, you must be a full registered developer in Apple's iOS and Mac programs. Are you tech blogger? a developer? and want to live screen the event via a conceitedness live event video? then make sure you've stumble upon the side requirements to pave way there. All the best, guys

Performing the test-run project: Activate Facebook chat heads on your iOS device

Updated Chat-Heads for iOS
Credit: Digital_chat_heads.com)
It is today when Facebook updated it's iOS app thus bringing chat-heads to it's platform. The update, maintains few glitches though, as special features like chat-heads and stickers still faces a set-back till it's official launch to everyone - In short, it's limited at the moment. Now the update is squared, what else? I guess a few of you have the interest in tasting the waters and see how deep they run.

well, the good news is, you're lucky. Chat heads together with features like sticker have minoritly raised temperatures most likely to many who have seen the move as behind bars scenario. To be sober, i tasted the Facebook chat-head today and to my surprise it gave promising results especially if you're on iOS 6 family. Let's not waste time. I came across various tweaks but managed slicing you two, that will perhaps nurture your Facebook experience to a blowing reality. Off-course the tweaks am about to breakdown will carter for two updates, for those interested on Facebook chat-head alone and wish to out-leave Facebook stickers and for those intending icing for both - Facebook chat-heads for iOS will be rolling out sometime soon, most probably over the coming weeks and so, if you wish to jump over and consider yourself in the lab for chat-heads, then take full advantage of this very test-run project.

What you'll need.
- iExplorer that will enable you to extract the plist file and immediately Xcode that to your PC for further changes.
- Your iPhone device.  (note that changing plist file codes needs you to be updated to iOS 6)
-Your PC. (Be sure to be running mac or Linux platform as Xcoding reference keys on iOS relies on mac and Linux explorer files for editing to be easily accomplished)

Editing the PLIST file and activating chat-heads : The process isn't cumbersome, you'll have to download  iExplorer  depending on your platform and thereafter execute it for extraction to be successfully logged within the system (Linux users will have to download mac's platform and dump the file via a console for installation)
- Once completed, launch the iExplorer app with your iPhone device docked and thereafter options with vast integrities and various functions will be seen. I advice you to mount your device and press the "auto transfer" tab. All of your contents paged within your device will all be on your PC for viewing. Now navigate to (Com.facebook.facebook.Plist) This plist holds a number of keys that Facebook determines how it should behave.
- Now open the plist file with your favorite plist editor. Myself used Plist Xcode editor and was successful. Look up for the key "messanger_chat_heads_ios". If this keys doesn't exist in your plist, just add it to the top level of same existing file. Change the key value to "Yes" or "</No>" (depending on what you're editing in)
- Save the edited plist and drag it back to your device while iExplorer is still running.
- Now kill the app and have it re-launched to make it adapt the changes  you made in plist.
- That's it, you now have Facebook chat-heads up and running. As you have chat conversation with either your relatives, friends and workmates you should see circles with their avatars scribble on screen as you navigate the app.

Activating Stickers
Stickers, on the same note posses plist files but difference gears in as this mirrors different key codes  that communicates with servers from Facebook. The process is rather lengthy but for those who seek curiosity like Carly Rae jepsen and need to try Stickers can as well point their browsers to this post and perform the big boy's thing.

Commentary: Not being a fun of stickers on Facebook chat-heads, i simply deactivated it and now waiting the day Facebook will activate stickers to my account. All the best!

Apple takes a halt: Samsung taken out of next A7 chip production.

Apple's A6 Series processor
(Credit: Apple)
It clearly comes with intriguing notations but the fact is, Samsung will no longer be in contract with Apple anymore as A7 affiliated chip production grinds to an halt. Am quite not sure why apple disconnected from Samsung but from my own thinking perspective, Samsung, did the same and never uncovered what they were planning for it's devices when holding annual press meetings in Korea. This comes after The Korea Times updated the cut off incarnation revealed by apple. Off-course apple has been icing the cake to Samsung when it intended of coming up with a newer device for it's consumers but it's latest confirmation leaves Samsung puzzled & dismayed

The two companies confirmed deeper relationship since the A6 and A6X chip production that both the iPhone 4S & 5 portrayed. The A6 and A6X performed significantly fine. Each showed 20 nano's with respect to Intel's standard execution that passed FCC (Federal-Communication-Commissions) qualification standards. Samsung, from apple's wireless & semi conductors chief, Bob Mansfield, laid positive & never assumed Samsung would one day be out of contract with apple. Sources told on CNET reveal a crushing & as well partial disagreements that Samsung faced with apple when tabling issues with forth coming chip production from both firms. Ironically, Samsung goes further filling reports indicating the bond between them & apple is unbreakable but why did apple shift it's chip operations to a manufacturing company by the name TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) of which sources on "The Korea times" updates?
Apple's future promising chip manufacturing company

Last month sources, different from "Korea Times" hinted the untold deal at CNET that apple was quisling deals with TSMC and they were both in contract of which apple was perhaps awaiting it's 20 nanometer chip spec that based on TSMC and would be out by 2014. The source goes on further indicating that apple will still be with Samsung till it's A6 chip runs out of course. This gives clear information that Samsung won't be making ties with apple in the name of A7 chip production which will be a successor to A6 and A6X series processors that currently powers the iPhone & iPad respectively

Commentary:- Guys, the relationship between apple and Samsung is somewhat privy. No one knows what may happen and change the retailing-contract structure between these two firms but what am sure of is, apple's come back in contract with it's rival Samsung will perhaps bring with it a rippling effect that no any other firm within the chip industry can imagine. Meanwhile I've contacted a senior tech blogger from Apple retailing department and will update you with more if any latest is replied.

Tired of errors? Lets fix that for sandboxed application in OS X

(Credit: Sandbox Developers, CA)

Are you the the kind of person who will always irk your moods for a day started badly when working behind your Mac just because a usual application isn't offering the right access authentication as directed? well, it's time to say good-bye to that. At times applications you like most will not give you the best when opening, closing or saving vital documents either. Here's a problem i found of which am pretty sure many of you have troubleshooted it in a way that doesn't suggest. At time OS X users may face problems such as a program not allowing you to save relevant documents thus prompting you a critical message that quotes "You may not have permission to access a file you are trying to open" or other users may as well find themselves unable to save what they see is important for future reference from their point of edit.
Presumably, this reveals a lot than what the read/user access may tell when it comes to issues concerning sandbox system. Normally whatever program a user works with, traces of batch files are directly mirrored to a system folder named "User". Programs like TextEdit when launched points all end-results to the final sandbox operation folder where it's finally saved. Perhaps, a portion of work (On TextEdit) may at times not save your ongoing operation which may later mean an option of loosing all unsaved data. What does it mean? all your root access folder namely "user" may also be exhibiting same problem as seen on sandbox's source folder.

How users troubleshoot sandbox problems according to my research.
- Cases of sandbox errors may appear minor but when tacked badly may carry with it consequences. Errors that consecutively prompts during a saving order are much less risky than prompts shown during or after a critical update. Problems may build when such troubleshooting operations are done as follows:
 - Attempting a fresh roll back to restore your machine on a previous or earlier state: - This will rather refresh the OS X execution layer but not rectify issues concerning the sandbox as all OS X version except Snow White Leopard v10.1 that will evade this, reason being the sandbox system supported is different from a domain that apple changed when coming up with Mountain lion v10.8. What happens is that the operating system assumes adjustments on programs but doesn't change the entire log as users expect.
- Attempting to clear cache via a console environment: - Again that will not buy you proper results as all consoles both  from Linux & OS X platform perform legitimate functions that gets to avoid altering  programs that reside in the sandbox folder. The definite reason behind it is, when coming up with lion especially v10.8.8 (an update seen from 10.8) developers evaded the adjustment-act on sandbox alteration by patching an update which restricted users from modifying viable extensions ie (com.apple.xxx extensions). This was to protect all applications within the sandbox folder -- Clearing cache won't help, maybe on v10.1 Leopard users.

The way forward.
- According to Scott Forstall, (Former senior vice president of iOS software) sees to it that every strong chain has it's weakest point - There's an option to fall upon if after-all data is vital for you. Lets try troubleshooting the sand-boxing errors:

                  {Open the Console program and search for "sandboxd," which is the daemon process (or "server") in the system that manages the sandboxing routines that programs like TextEdit interface with. With this search, you should be able to see a reference to the affected program along with any associated messages, such as the sandbox daemon denying access to a requested file. With Console open, you can try to use your application again and see if similar messages show up.}

or
Container folder as navigated on OS X

                 {You can Go menu in the Finder (hold the Option key if the Library is missing), and then opening the Containers folder. In here you will see each sandboxed application's container named by its domain (e.g., "com.apple.TextEdit" for TextEdit), so locate the one for your program and move it to the desktop. Then relaunch the program and see if the problems go away}

Caution!- Do not be too fast in discarding the Sandbox container as this will still be holding your documents. Copy all that to a different physical location -- i prefer  the desktop as this doesn't mimic extension from the sandbox cache.
